Whether we’re crushing our buddies on climbs or tackling gnarly descents that some say might be better suited for an enduro bike, the new Yeti SB120 is built for all-out speed. Featuring 120mm of revised Switch Infinity rear travel, this short-travel trail slayer pedals efficiently while still maintaining exceptional small bump sensitivity and loads of rear wheel traction. Premium TURQ carbon layup is ultra-light and insanely strong to hold up to whatever sort of riding we find ourselves doing. The engineers at Yeti refined both the geometry and the TURQ carbon layup to create a consistent ride across the whole size range and increase the stiffness of the frame overall so we can put even more power down where it matters most. The slack yet climbing-friendly 66.5-degree headtube angle is paired with a 130mm travel fork and 29in wheels for responsive handling and stability at speed.

This Yeti SB120 T1 build combines SRAM GX and X01 drivetrain components with premium suspension and wheels to create a trail bike that is lightweight, and durable. This 12-speed SRAM drivetrain features GX-level consumable components like the cassette and chain to keep the cost of maintenance down and an X01 derailleur for extremely crisp shifting. The Fox Factory 34 fork has 130mm of travel and a GRIP2 damper so we can dial in our ride feel exactly how we like it. A pair of 29-inch DT Swiss EXC 1501 rims are laced to time-tested 240 hubs so we can roll over just about anything but not feel bogged down by extra weight on the climbs. Yeti’s engineers even tweaked the geometry to allow for a long Fox Factory Transfer dropper post to make saddle snags a thing of the past. The Yeti SB120 T1 GX/X01 Eagle Carbon Wheel Mountain Bike is a short-travel trail machine that refuses to be defined as anything other than “Ready”.
